Jacque D. Dunegan has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and Wellness Education from the University of Central Florida. She has conducted extensive research with the medical consultant to Orange County Public Schools on adolescent obesity and published the results in her Ph.D. Dissertation entitled A Study of Orange County Public Schools' Adolescent Obesity Risk Factor Assessment and Intervention Program. While attending the University of Central Florida, she also received a graduate certification in Aging Studies.
Dr. Dunegan, a UCF professor, is Gold Certified as a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. During her Master’s Program, Jacque interned at Florida Heart Group (Orlando, FL), specializing in the Graded Exercise Treadmill Stress Testing and Thallium Laboratory. She also publishes a nationwide newsletter, bodyjournal, and contributes to other health publications. She has been a wellness presenter in Central Florida since 1987. She presented at the I.D.E.A. World Fitness Conference in 1996 on "How to Change the Attitudes of the Multitudes". She is a member of several fitness professional organizations, and has also found the time to run the New York City Marathon. Recently she was asked to join the Advisory Board of the Keiser University Graduate School Distant Learning Internship program, which provides dietetics graduate students with internship opportunities across the country.
Dr. Dunegan is available for consultation in many areas of wellness such as weight-loss programs, nutrition, adolescent weight management, nutrition, weight-loss programs, injury rehabilitation, dealing with disease, health problems associated with aging, stress management, and iron-man training.
Ron Owens is an Exercise Physiologist with over 33 years of diverse experience in the field of Health & Wellness. He has worked with special populations such as substance abuse rehab, cardiac and stroke rehab, arthritis and aging populations. As a professor at Valencia College in Orlando in the area of Health Science, he enjoys empowering individuals with the knowledge that will allow them to enhance their personal health and accomplish their goals.
Ron spent six years working at the Walt Disney Company as their Corporate Fitness Coordinator where his job was to develop and implement programs for individuals and work groups throughout the company of 36,000 people. He then went on to work as a consultant in the area of corporate wellness, developing programs for small to medium size companies throughout Central Florida. During this time he started a personal training business working with special populations and general population clients. Ron also specializes in sports specific training with over 17 years of working with endurance athletes training for marathon and triathlon events. He has trained over 2000 people to complete full and half marathon distance races. He is an accomplished endurance athlete himself having completed over 65 marathons himself as well as countless triathlons and road races.

Benjamin has been a private Personal Trainer for over 3 years and has his Bachelors in Exercise Science from UCF, specializing in Human Performance. He has worked in a variety of clinical rehabilitation settings as well as fitness facilities as a group exercise instructor.
Benjamin is an avid exercise enthusiast who cares for the total wellbeing of his clients. His main goal as a fitness professional is to guide individuals towards achieving their greatest potential!
Akilah is a recent Cornell University graduate interning at WELLTRAX. She helps in a number of capacities, including website updates, client intake management, event planning, greeting clients, among other things.
In her free time Akilah enjoys salsa and bachata dancing, visiting museums, and most importantly eating home-cooked meals. After partaking in Welltrax’s ‘Free Yoga Class Series’, she has made it a goal to become an avid yogi.
Upon the conclusion of her internship with Welltrax, she will continue on to pursue her Masters in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in NYC.
Evelyn has 22 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant. She works to keep the office organized and flowing. If you call the office, you’re likely to speak to Evelyn and she is always happy to help you out with making appointments and address any questions you may have.
When Evelyn is not working, she loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She also likes traveling, reading, learning new things and helping people out in times of need.
Tamara began her massage career in September 2000 at the Central Florida School of Massage Therapy in Winter Park, obtaining her license in April 2001. She is proficient in therapeutic stretching and relaxation massage. She received private instruction in Pre-natal Massage and Sports Enhancement Massage which uses Myofascial Release techniques from traditional Deep Tissue massage. She worked at a chiropractic office for 2.5 years performing medical massage. She taught laws and ethics classes at Central Florida School of Massage Therapy for three years. Tamara has taken continuing education courses in Medical Massage, Kinesio Taping, Sports Massage, Myofascial Therapy, Nuero Muscular Therapy, TMJ Treatment, Orthopedic Massage, Aromatherapy, Crainosacral Therapy, Accupressure, Reiki, Qigong and Food Healing. Tamara believes massage is an integral part of maintaining a healthy balance in life whether you are an athlete, accident victim or one who needs to take time for yourself. Julie Witts comes to WELLTRAX with 26 years of experience. She graduated from The Reese Institute School of Massage Therapy of Oveido, Florida in 1989. Julie provides her clients with individualized attention- making sure she understands the needs and concerns of each client. Julie has added a new form of massage to her list of credentials- Bamboo-Fusion™. Bamboo Fusion involves the use of bamboo as extensions of a therapist fingers during a specialized massage. The pieces of bamboo are warmed and then applied to the body in a combination of gliding, kneading, rolling and tapping movements to quickly penetrate and relax the muscles. Anthony comes to WELLTRAX with 18 years of experience. He graduated from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, New York. He has had several years of experience in Women's Health working under the Chairman, Dr. Raul Artal, of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the SUNY Health Science Center Syracuse. His certifications include Orthopedic/Medical and Pre and Perinatal Massage. Anthony listens carefully to each client and customizes the session to produce optimal results. Meghan graduated from The Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy near Philadelphia, PA in 2002 and has been practicing bodywork ever since. She is also a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
