We're excited to announce the newest addition to the Welltrax team, Rachel McIntee. Rachel is a UCF senior majoring in Business. She attended last year’s healing retreat and felt it changed her life, and she wants to help other women pursue wellness. As our intern, she will be helping create, develop and implement the Healing Retreat for College Women. Here's what Rachel has to say about working at Welltrax:
In October 2009 I stumbled across a life changing experience. I attended the Wellness Retreat here at Welltrax and will be changed forever. I am a senior at UCF graduating with a degree in Business Administration and a double minor in Sports Business Management and Nonprofit Management.
I have been interning at Welltrax for almost eight months now and have learned so much about myself and becoming the best student, intern and person I can be. Since starting at Welltrax I have added two minors, had two additional internships and been awarded the Next Gen Leadership award through American Humanics. I have also become the Vice President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Collegiate Chapter and the Media Specialist of the Rowdy Knights (an athletic supporting club at UCF).
Interning at Welltrax has taught me to challenge myself and try new things. I have been able to do just that with the help and support of the Welltrax team and hope to continue so. I plan on attending Graduate School and possibly the Peace Corps.
If I hadn’t stumbled across the Wellness Retreat I attended, I know I would not be in the place I am in now. I have loved every minute of working with people as kind and inspiring as the Welltrax team. I look forward to new challenges that come my way with Welltrax and know I will be more prepared because I have joined this motivating team.
