A wellness program is not just about eating the right foods and exercising, it is about developiong your whole self, your Mind, Body, and Spirit, to its fullest potential. All 3 are equally important on the road to living a wellness lifestyle. I have learned that if I neglect any one of these 3 aspects of my being, it throws your whole life off kilter!! For instance, you can have a perfectly fit body and a well-exercised mind, but if you negelct your Spirit, the whole thing goes off balance. It's like a isocoles triangle, where all the sides are of equal size and importance.
Dr. Dunegan has given me the guidance and the knowledge to know how to recognize when things are starting to go awry. To me, wellness is not just about losing weight and looking good. It is about bringing me to my fullest potential, whether that is training for a 5k, writing a novel, or learning to love myself as I am. I am ever grateful to Dr. Dunegan for guiding me on my path to Wellness.
